IKEA – Homemade Is Best

Creative agency Forsman & Bodenfors were tasked with¬†devising a way to highlight the range of IKEA’s kitchen appliances in an effective and innovative way. In their own words:
“90% of all the photographs taken in baking books look extremly alike. We wanted to try something different and present the recipes in a totally new fashion.”
So their solution, in collaboration with stylist Evelina Bratell, was to produce a 140-page coffee-table book featuring stylised photographs of baking ingredients followed by their freshly-baked reincarnations. The images are inspired by high fashion and japanese minimalism and were photographed by Carl Kleiner.
